Xilica®, a provider of collaboration products that help unleash the power of human connectivity, and Yamaha Unified Communications announced a solution partnership designed to simplify the installation and deployment of ceiling-mounted audio systems in medium- to large-sized collaboration spaces. The joint room solution focuses on integration between the Xilica ecosystem of processors, speakers and controls and Yamaha's ADECIA RM-CG ceiling-mounted beamforming microphone array, which can cover a 56 square meter room.
Dealers looking to deploy Yamaha's ADECIA RM-CG system in larger rooms and high-value spaces now have a pre-built integration with Xilica's digital signal processing products, providing a no-code, drag-and-drop implementation that enables Yamaha's ADECIA RM-CG to be used in complex systems without time-consuming implementation. In the future, Xilica will integrally enable its Follow Me automatic voice camera tracking feature for Yamaha's ADECIA RM-CG, which enables voice-triggered pan-tilt camera control from any VISCA-based pan-tilt camera, including popular models from Aver, Canon, Sony, Lumens and others.
The Xilica Sonia is available in a ceiling speaker system, entirely via category cables, and provides power functions for the Yamaha ADECIA RM-CG.Supported Yamaha ADECIA RM-CG functions in the Xilica software include: online/offline status, full LED control, channel level measurement, focus zone control, and beam angle monitoring.
Xilica and Yamaha's system solutions include the Xilica Solaro QR1-UC, a microformat, PoE-powered DSP with HearClear AEC technology and integrated controls; the Xilica Sonia Ceiling Audio Solution, a CatX ceiling speaker system, which also offers PoE ports for Yamaha Adecia RM-CG networking and powering, resulting in a single network outage; and Yamaha ADECIA RM-CG beamforming.
