Making systems scalable. This is the work of Solaro XIO: Xilica's next-generation input/output extension framework.
Designed to ensure that Solaro and X2 DSP configurations are future-proof and to continue the total flexibility introduced through these two revolutionary modular processor platforms, the XIO utilizes a dual-mode configuration. The XIO 8 is an 8-card-slot, quarter-rack width expansion frame that accepts all 1U Solaro I/O option cards, while the XIO 16 is a 16-card-slot, full-rack width, 1U expansion frame.
The XIO 8 offers a number of convenient small installation options to expand the number of channels in small applications. It offers 4×4 Dante network audio, as well as Ethernet and Dante RJ45 connectivity, and PoE powering. Its larger sibling, the XIO 16, offers expanded 32×32 Dante network audio in a standard 19" rack mount.
