Designed from the ground up, the Solaro FR1 delivers unrivaled power and performance without costing the earth. From its ultra-powerful dual-core processor, next-generation Linux® operating system and easy-to-configure open architecture framework to its 16 individual field-pluggable card slots - the Solaro FR1 is designed to support limitless creativity for integrators, specifiers and end users.
Say hello to your best friend.
Everything about this processor is focused on eliminating the challenge of specifying and installing digital signal processing products. Solaro makes it easy to achieve frictionless and fully customizable I/O counts: simply select any of the available analog audio, Dante™, AES/EBU, AEC, and GPIO cards and push it into the rear slot until it's secure. No wires, screwdrivers or messy connections required.
The Solaro Series I/O Option Card provides 2-channel analog audio input, 2-channel analog audio output, 2-channel AES / EBU digital audio, 4-channel GPIO and AEC, low latency 250ms (8-channel) ) and 100ms (16-channel), and softkey activation. A user-installable rear module can be used to deliver legendary Dante network audio, opening up 64 x 64 Dante channels to send audio between more than 1,500 Dante products from over 400 manufacturers.
And, if you need more than 16 card slots to complete the ideal system, add a brand new Solaro XIO expansion device built on the same modular frame and using the exact same I/O option cards.
Break the mold.
The Solaro series allows integrators and specifiers to ignore manufacturer's instructions on I/O combinations and instead focus on the right choices for their project without costly overfunctionality. In addition, the Solaro FR1 serves as a unique cost savings for future installations - if requirements change in the future, field pluggable cards can be changed for different configurations, or new I/O options can be added - either through unused card slots, or by adding XIO expansion products.
Large integrators, enterprise customers and global distributors have already expressed their support for the modular focus of the Solaro family: no need to store tons of different I/O configurations and a never-ending list of SKUs, wait for backorders and change discounted inventory to boost cash flow. With Solaro FR1, simply purchase the frame, choose your card, and configure it to your exact needs. Each item.
Does this sound like, or is it just Solaro?
A proud member of the Xilica family of processors, the Solaro boasts the complete same studio sound quality that has existed since our inception. Advanced microphone preamplifiers, selectable 48kHz or 96kHz sample rates, and advanced audio tools such as FIR filters make the Solaro FR1 a great choice for applications that require high-fidelity sound quality, especially when used in conjunction with a 40-bit floating point processor. Additionally, with the Xilica XTouch™ all-glass touchscreen, free iOS and Android apps, PC / Mac and third-party controllers such as Crestron® and Extron®, you can easily control impeccable audio.
We had a lot of fun with the others.
XilicaDesigner®, our programming software, makes it easy to develop integrators. Programming third-party Dante devices is simple, with built-in native integration features for products including Powersoft, Bose, Yamaha, Sanyo, NEC, RCF and Adamson. And, if your preferred Dante brand is not listed, you can simply plug in a Generic Dante device module to connect everything. Because Designer integrates many of its features into the programming window, there's no need for a Dante Controller, either. Finally, enhanced third-party control features allow professionals to control whatever they have control strings for - from blinds, doors and windows to HVAC and even DMX lighting. Many leading integrators use Xilica Designer as the basis for configuring their entire networked video and audio system - and we don't blame them.
We got you back.
The Solaro FR1 is rugged - built in our own factory, assembled by trained technicians, and designed in Canada by our experienced team, failure is not an option. We know how many customers rely on DSP as the backbone of their systems, and we don't take that lightly. What's more, in the unlikely event that something goes wrong, Xilica's global technical and dealer service teams are ready to get you back up and running, even during off hours. A three-year warranty, including parts and labor, is just icing on the cake.
The Solaro FR1 is not compatible with legacy Touch SM7 or Mini series controllers, nor is it recommended to develop networked systems with FR1 and Neutrino products.
