Gio Bluetooth utilizes the extended range and superior quality of Bluetooth 5.0 Class 2 technology to connect personal peripherals, such as smartphones, iPads and laptops, to an IT-managed in-room AV system.Gio Bluetooth can be installed in a single group with just a single CatX cable compliant with IEEE 802.3af PoE, and Gio Bluetooth requires only one CatX cable for IEEE 802.3af-compliant PoE installation into a single group, and offers installer-configurable device naming, PIN security and advanced pairing options.
Optimized for conferencing, Gio Bluetooth enables room users to pair their phones with an installed AV system that provides two-way audio to benefit from HearClearTM AEC, voice enhancement, and noise reduction technologies.With configurable features including priority pairing and automatic disconnection to prevent accidental pairing in busy office facilities, Gio Bluetooth is Gio Bluetooth is ideal for businesses. Its connection status can be remotely controlled via the XTouch touchscreen and third-party systems such as Crestron® and AMX®.

Engineering specifications
The device shall be capable of providing extended range using Bluetooth 5.0, Class 2 technology and shall be installed in a single box in the US and UK using the included faceplate. The device shall have Power over Ethernet (PoE) functionality in accordance with IEEE 802.3af Level 0 standards and support Dante audio networks for signaling. It shall provide the ability for simple configuration and control via proprietary software, but shall also be capable of third-party integration for control using JSON configuration files and open APIs. The module shall provide a single RGB LED for status reporting and capacitive touch buttons for pairing control. It shall support 1.6 Hands Free Pattern (HFP), 1.2 Headphone Pattern (HSP), and 1.3 Advanced Audio Distribution Pattern (A2DP), or any combination thereof. The device shall meet FCC Class 15B regulatory requirements. The device shall be Xilica Gio Bluetooth.
