D8-TBox consists of eight toroidal transformers for constant resistance amplifier input signal, converted to constant voltage output 100V, 70V and 50V constant voltage large-scale public broadcasting audio system each transformer's rated power of 120W, the input impedance can be selected between 4 ohms and 8 ohms, the transformer's output of the three different voltage grades, for 100V, 70V and 50V audio distribution system.
Unlike conventional toroidal transformers, the D8-Tbox has a special internal adapter network that makes it suitable for use with Class D amplifiers. The D8-TBox is mounted in a rugged 19" rack in 2U of rack space, and uses Euro-style terminals for both input and output connections.
